The Agniveer Army selection process includes an online common entrance exam (CEE), physical fitness test, and medical test. Those who are shortlisted must then appear for the recruitment rally.
Age Limit for Agniveer Army
The age limit for Indian Army Agniveer recruitment is between 17.5 and 21 years. However, there will be upper-age relaxation for reserved category candidates. Youth who are interested in joining the army should only register using their Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers to avoid any issues. Also, they should make sure that the email address they used to register is valid.
Applicants should be physically and mentally fit to join the army. This includes meeting the height, chest expansion, and physical measurement test (PMT) standards. They must also complete a medical examination at the rally site.
If they pass the PMT and medical examination, the candidate will be enrolled in the Indian Army for four years. They will be paid a customized salary and receive risk and hardship, dress, and travel allowances. Moreover, they will be covered by non-contributory life insurance. They will also be able to get education loans from the government. This is a great opportunity for youth to serve their nation in an esteemed military organization.
Agniveer Army Educational Qualification
As with any other army recruitment, candidates for Agniveer will need to meet certain educational requirements. Depending on the trade, they will either need to have passed class 10 or class 12 or hold an equivalent certificate.
For the Store Keeper position, an intermediate exam is required with at least 60% marks. For Clerk roles, a class 10 or higher is required.
Once you meet the educational qualification for your selected Agniveer trade, you’ll take an online common entrance examination (CEE). The CEE will contain objective multiple-choice questions that cover a range of topics. The number of questions and time allotted for the exam will vary by trade. The exam is followed by a medical examination conducted by qualified military doctors. After completing all the steps of the selection process, the Indian army will prepare a final merit list. The top candidates on the list will be notified of their fate. If you’re selected, be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully.

Agniveer Army Physical Requirements
The Agniveer Army recruitment process requires candidates to pass a written exam and complete a medical examination. Those who complete these requirements will be enrolled in the military for four years. They will receive a monthly salary and a ‘Seva Nidhi’ package.
The written exam is held at various computer-based centers across the country. It consists of multiple-choice questions. The time limit for the written exam will vary depending on the position you apply for. For example, the exam for the Office Assistant/SKT position will have a typing test component that requires you to type at least 30 words per minute in English.
The physical efficiency test (PFT) measures your ability to perform physically demanding tasks. This includes running, push-ups, and a nine-foot jump. Additionally, you will need to clear a medical examination conducted by qualified Army doctors. If you are unfit, your application will be rejected. Medical tests are based on several factors, including vision, hearing, and mental health.
